Very Clean World War I Army Officer Visor Cap
click for an even bigger image

The cap has some age discoloration on the khaki colored hat band, but the wool body of the cap is in excellent condition, without holes or stains. The leather chin strap is complete and intact. The interior shows wear although the stamped retailer label of the William C. Rowland Uniform Company of Philadelphia is still legible. There is no interior size tag but the cap appears to be approximately a size 7. There is spotting to the leather sweat band and the stitching is gone from the rear seam of the sweatband. However the cap has an excellent appearance and is, overall, very clean, with a fine shape.
