On Hold

A souvenir cigarette case dated 1945 and bearing a map of an area of Germany as well as the design of the shoulder patch of the U.S. 15th Army. The case must have been made soon after the end of the war, because it shows an area of Germany that was intended to be occupied by the U.S. 15th Army. However, this was changed in the summer of 1945, and the area shown on the cigarette case became a part of the British and French occupation zones. The case shows wear to the finish, but the latch works well and the case is in overall good condition.
