On Hold

The olive green wool uniform jacket of a Captain in the Imperial Japanese Army. The jacket is tailor made in high quality wool, with the rank insignia on the collar of an Army Captain. The jacket has the officer's name of "Tosa" embroidered on the lining. The interior of the jacket has a reinforced opening on the left side for wear of the Gunto officer's sword. The jacket has a few very minor "pulls" the fabric which are almost imperceptible. Aside from this, the jacket shows few signs of use or wear and it is in near immaculate condition. The jacket even has the original olive green celluloid collar liner still in place. The interior lining has the tailor's label of the Yamaguchi Clothing Store in Kyoto. A superb World War II Japanese Army officer uniform jacket in exceptional condition.
