An original typed U.S. Navy communique providing details of a coordinated attack "in the area of Tokyo". The document is undated but undoubtedly relates events taking place late in the war. The document is titled as "CINCPOA [Commander in Chief Pacific Ocean Area] Communique #419" and relates the effects of combined naval and air attacks on Japanese targets and shipping. The document identifies the ships and units taking part in the operations and their commanders. The document is 8 by 12 3/4 inches i size. The document has two file holes punched at the top and some fold lines but it remains quite legible.
