click for an even bigger image

The dark blue wool beret is marked with the War Ministry broad arrow and dated 1963. The edge is bound in black leather. The beret carries the cap badge of one of the distinguished Irish regiments within the British Army, the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. The drawstring within the leather edging appears to have been removed. The cap interior shows wear and use, but the beret is in overall excellent used condition, and is without exterior stains or moth damage. One of the famous regiments of the British Army, and a distinguished Irish unit, the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers were disbanded in 1968.
