Dress Bayonet by Paul Seilheimer with Dog Logo
K98 dress bayonet with the ricasso bearing the manufacturer mark of the firm of Paul Seilheimer in conjunction with the less commonly seen firm logo of a dog holding a sword in its mouth. The bayonet has an overall length in the scabbard of 15 1/2 inches, with a blade length of 10 inches. The blade is very bright, with only typical in and out marks. The leather washer remains in place on the ricasso. The crossguard and the pommel are a bit dull from age and from exposure to the air, but these surfaces would likely clean up extremely well and would be as bright as the blade. The black checkered grips are free of chips or cracks. The scabbard retains about 95% original black paint.
