Early Auxiliary Cruiser War Badge by Schwerin
A heavy, die struck zinc badge with the globe separately riveted to the badge, a characteristic of the earlier examples of this badge, which was instituted in 1941. The badge is manufacturer marked by Schwerin of Berlin. The gold wash is gone from the eagle and wreath, giving these components a toned silver appearance.
