The exterior field gray paint is approximately 60% intact. There are white labels on the exterior and interior rear rims of the helmet, almost certainly intended as address labels for the helmet to be mailed home as a souvenir. The liner and chin strap are missing. The helmet has the interior stamp of "ET64", indicating a size 64 helmet that was manufactured by Eisenhttenwerke in Thale.
