Imperial German Unit Marked Belt & Brass Buckle

The leather belt shows age and wear but remains supple. The belt is size marked "98" centimeters (about 38 1/2 inches). The belt is dated 1901 and marked to Infantry Regiment 46 (the 1st Lower Silesian Infantry, "Count Kirchbach"). The belt carries a two piece brass "Gott Mit Uns" buckle. The 46th Infantry Regiment served on the Western Front during WWI.
