WWII Army Type 90 Combat Helmet with Cover and Net
click for an even bigger image

A superb example of the World War II Japanese Army Type 90 combat helmet which is complete with its original combat cover and camouflage net. The cover has obviously been on the helmet since the war and as such it was not removed to photograph the exterior of the helmet shell. However, the metal Army star insignia can be felt on the helmet beneath the cloth star on the front of the cover. The cover shows the expected spots and signs of use but it is in excellent condition, as is the camouflage net. The interior of the helmet has a complete liner which, again, shows the signs of having been worn but it remains in excellent used condition. The "pillows" behind the liner pads are not filled and do not appear to have ever had filling in them. The cloth chin strap shows some discoloration from perspiration but it is complete and uncut. Overall an exceptional example of a complete Type 90 combat helmet with its original cover and camouflage net.
