DAF Labor Front Member Visor Cap with RZM Tag
click for an even bigger image

The cap, often referred to as a DAF "Festival Cap", has a dark blue wool body on the peak of which is pinned the correct machine woven DAF cap badge. The machine woven cap band has the repeating pattern of oak leaves that is distinctive to the DAF caps. The black leather visor exhibits typical fine age crazing. The cap body has some spots and a few small holes, none of which are particularly distracting and the cap would benefit from a careful cleaning after many years of storage. The interior is lined in blue gray cotton. The full celluloid sweatshield has an embossed swastika and, while it has some cracking from age, it is complete and intact. The lining also carries a large cloth RZM quality control tag. Overall the cap shows typical signs of use and age but makes a very good appearance.
