Hardcover, 8 by 10 3/4 inches, 227 pages, Published 1947 by Art City Publishing Company. With original transmittal letter. The volume covers the history of the Squadron, illustrated with photographs. The text includes names of those who were killed in action, citations for decorations, and a post-war roster of members of the squadron with their addresses. The squadron was a part of the 12th Air force in Europe, but members of the squadron participated as well in the 1942 Tokyo raid led by General James Doolittle, including the co-pilot and navigator of Crew Number 1, the bomber flown by Doolittle himself. The book is in excellent used condition.
