On Hold

A nice example of the distinctive "gladiator" style helmet worn by members of the wartime Japanese Civil Defense Forces. The hard shell is manufactured from five separate pieces riveted together - composition sides and visor, steel top. The exterior black paint is approximately 90% intact. The interior burlap cloth liner and the burlap cloth chin strap show use, but the helmet is in overall very good used condition.
