On Hold

A very fine example of one of the early production pieces of the 1902 Army Officer saber. The grip is brown horn - as seen on the earliest M1902 swords. The plated blade is triple etched on each side and on the spine with decorative designs. The blade has a name panel on which is etched the name of "J.A. Broadfield". The scabbard is also nickel plated and, like the blade, it is bright and in excellent condition. The original leather officer's sword knot is tied to the guard and, while it shows wear and use, it is complete and intact.
