Prussian Police Officer Rank Dress Bayonet
The dress bayonet worn by an individual holding officer rank in the Prussian Police. The blade is bright and unmarked by any manufacturer. It is 9 1/2 inches long and is uncut, this being a bayonet that was made in the shorter length for wear by an officer. The nickel plating on the pommel and guard is excellent. The red wool insert is still present in the rifle slot. The antler grips have a fine light gold tone from age and the Prussian Police insignia is set into the grip. The black scabbard paint is approximately 95% intact. The scabbard itself has one or two minor dings to the surface. The original black leather frog is on the bayonet. Overall excellent condition.
