Army Air Force and Navy AN-6530 Flight Goggles
The AN-6530 goggles were introduced in 1943 as the standard military aviation goggles for use by Army, Navy, and Marine Corps pilots. This pair of goggles has the tinted glass lenses, bi-swing nose piece, and rubber padded lenses characteristic of the AN-6530. The rubber pads behind the lenses are somewhat dry as is typical of rubber articles produced during World War II. There has been some loss of elasticity to the head band. However, the lenses are clear and the entire set is in very good condition overall.
