1943 Dated Shipping Box for Red Cross Blood Plasma

A complete and intact cardboard shipping boox for "Normal Human Plasma Dried", with a ;label stating that it was "from volunteer donors enrolled by the American Red Cross", with a notation on the label that it is "Form 3601 Rev. Oct. 1943". The opposite side of the box bears the label of Cutter Laboratories in California. The box measures approximately 10 inches long by 7 1/2 inches wide by 4 inches deep. The lid of the box has a several columns of numbers written in pencil as well as a pencil drawing of an army sergeant's chevron and a pencil drawing of a French Citroen DS automobile. The box shows wear but it is rather amazing that it has survuved at all.
