Pattern for a Sennibari Belt of 1,000 Stitches
A printed yellow artificial silk cloth with red dots on which Japanese women could embroider red knots, or stitches, in the image of a tiger to create the good luck "belt of 1,000 stitches" for a Japanese soldier in World War II. There is printed kanji on the cloth which states "Prayers for Continued Luck in the Fortunes of War". Excellent condition.
